My baby can beat up your baby

It has been a little more than 5 weeks since Keeton was born but it feels like he has always been a part of our family. It is so hard to describe how I feel about him. There are the obvious feelings of love and pride, but I also just think he is freaking awesome. I wish I could put it in a more eloquent manner but that is really how I feel. He is awesome. He is the best baby ever. Hands down. I know you may think your baby is a little better but your wrong. Sorry to be the one to have to break it to you. But I think it is better that you know the truth.

When this boy smiles at you it makes you feel like you have just made Steve Carrell, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Amy and Davis Sedaris, Ellen DeGeneres, David Cross, Amy Poehler, Will Arnett and Tina Fey so jealous of how funny you are. And you should see that smile. To die for. So stinkin cute.

He is growing so fast. It is bitter sweet to see that. I am so excited to see him develop and learn knew things but with each knew development we can never go back to when he couldn't do those things.(Horrible run on sentence but too lazy to word it better) So you just have to enjoy each moment and soak it all in. He is also getting bigger. Especially now that we are no longer starving him. When we got to our 1 month appointment we found out he was supposed to be getting 3-4 ounces per serving and we had been giving him 2. There is no feeling quite like realizing you are a neglectful parent. So we are now feeding him what he is supposed to be getting and it is amazing how much they grow when you feed them properly.

These past 5 weeks have been so much fun for Cortney and I. Everyday is a new adventure for him and for us. It is a learning process but it helps that we have so much support from friends and family. Look out world! Here comes Keeton Levi Harper...and he can squirt poop across a changing table all the way to the door knob 5 feet away.

Here is Keeton's 1 month pic. I know it's a little late and his 2 month will be coming soon but better late than never.

Silly Daddy

The first time I filmed this, I told Jason it was too boring. This is what I got on the second take.
I guess I asked for it huh?
